Woah! Fascinating Re-built 2000 Year Old Computer

A British museum curator has built a working replica of a 2,000-year-old Greek machine that has been called the world's first computer.
A dictionary-size assemblage of 37 interlocking dials crafted with the precision and complexity of a 19th-century Swiss clock, the Antikythera mechanism was used for modeling and predicting the movements of the heavenly bodies as well as the dates and locations of upcoming Olympic games.

Waiting for Doctor Who...

It's that time of the year! Yep! Waiting for the Doctor Who Christmas Special!

This year it's called "The Next Doctor". It seems like a tease. David Tennant has announced he is leaving the series after three seasons of playing The Doctor. It makes it look like David Morrissey (pictured, center) will be the next doctor.

But there are three more specials scheduled with David Tennant! So who knows?

A night out to see Bob Gentry and his Band at the Viper Room in West Hollywood. They were great! I had never heard him before in a show and it was awesome - he's equally comfortable on keyboards or guitar and the band was great!

We went to the premiere of Beverly Hills Chihuahua, helping it lead the box office with a 29 million dollar opening weekend. It was a cute, sweet, funny movie and I'm not saying that because I have 2 chihuahuas at home!
